ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY May 2015 It was after a long time that the Prize Distribution ceremony was held within the boundary walls of Shaheen College. It could not be held at the usual stage/ podium in the playground, due to security restrictions.
The forecast for the day was a clear shiny day, but in the early morning hours light drizzle and strong winds created a sense of apprehension.
Fortunately the weather cleared and the ceremony went ahead
in more pleasant weather conditions.
The stage had been beautifully prepared a day before by Ms Amera
and her team of teachers. The chairs were brought in and shamianas
and carpets were also set up the day before. The programme started at 9:45 sharp as planned and ended at 11:30.
The highlight of the function was a documentary video clip showing the students participating in Spoken English competition
and the march past by the students on the last sports day.
The video clip was well appreciated by the parents.
The event was also well covered by media units such as
pothwar.link and pothwar.com.
The Principal awarded certificates and trophies to the winners.
The ceremony concluded at 11:30 AM.
